Fresh: A Drag Show For New Talent, has been happening semi regularly at the 18th & Union arts space for around a year now, and is still the show in Seattle offering non-competitive, paid spots for a wide variety of new performers in an all-ages space.

Seattle was one for the record books and definitely the queer event to be at during 2018’s PAX West. With so many games, so much dancing, and such great cosplay, it’s gonna be hard to top! Good thing we’ve got another year to figure out how.

Laugh Back was a hilarious comedy event, curated by Clara Pluton, comprised exclusively of comedians who are immigrants or children of immigrants, to take back the narrative of the immigrant experience and raise money for the NWDC Resistance, a grassroots undocumented led movement that works to end the detention of immigrants and stop all deportations.

Another year, another PAX, and the biggest and best queer geek party keeps on going strong. More than 500 people gamed, drank, danced, and showed off their best cosplay in the 9th annual Pink Party Prime.

Destiny Nicole Frasqueri, also known under her stage handle Princess Nokia, fell from the rainy Seattle heavens this past Thursday. Due to an incredibly high demand in ticket sales for the New York based Afro-Nuyorican independent alternative rap and R&B artist and songwriter, the kind folks at The Crocodile (along with the entire bill) offered up an additional show that night, too.
