Thursday–Sunday through Nov 15
On the Boards / 100 W Roy St
Kinksters, voyeurs, and exhibitionists unite! Tonight marks the return of HUMP!, The Stranger’s annual ode to amateur erotica, where you can watch your friends and neighbours get it on. Sometimes sexy, sometimes funny, sometimes tragic, but always interesting, HUMP! is a chance for locals to shed their inhibitions on film, and have the evidence destroyed afterwards. Most showings are sold out, but there’s always a few tickets available at the door. Leave your phones in your pocket for this one.
Seattle Arts Museum / 1300 1st Ave / 8pm
SAM Remix is a quarterly event where the Seattle Art Museum really lets it’s hair down. No two are ever exactly the same, but they all feature DJs, dancing, food, art making, and are just plain fun. It’s a great time to mix and mingle, and see the Seattle Art Museum in a whole new light. It usually sells out, so if you haven’t gotten you ticket yet, get online and do it now.
STG presents Well-Strung at The Neptune
The Neptune Theatre /1303 Northeast 45th Street / 7pm
Who doesn’t like a group of buff guys who really know how to handle their instruments? Well-Strung, described as “part boy-band, part string quartet” are as easy on the ears as they are on the eyes, and they’re bringing their well muscled, string quartet and vocal antics to The Neptune for your listening, and viewing, pleasure. You’ll probably never get a better chance to hear a mash-up of Beethoven and Britney Spears.
