Her research broadly concerns health and healthcare disparities faced by sexual minorities and older adults in the U.S. and across national contexts. Much of her work examines how structural issues (e.g., prejudice and discrimination) shape individuals’ social networks and relationship quality, and how access to social resources are linked to health and well-being.
