Going to International Mr. Leather 2017? While the event, which takes place at the Congress Plaza Hotel in Chicago over Memorial Day Weekend, focuses around a leather competition, it’s expanded outward into a citywide queer and kink celebration. With bear events, porn awards and tons of unofficial gatherings related to but not affiliated with IML, it’s hard to figure out what to do and how to plan your weekend itinerary.
This is where we come in. This is the third iteration of a list of unofficial parties and events on International Mr. Leather weekend. Please note, there is an official event calendar that we recommend for official events. If it’s on that list, it’s not on this one. This list is intended to be complementary to that, not a replacement. That said, I will plug POW! The Superhero Fetish Meetup which is new to the official schedule and is a favorite event of mine, and The Mr. International Rubber Social at IML, which I always attend when I go to IML.
I’ve mostly included the original text descriptions of events that event hosts have provided in Facebook event invites and online resources. I’m only listing events that are reasonably open to the public, so no private room parties or parties that require an invite (unless there’s an accessible way to get one).

In an effort to gather ALL Titans members, competing and not, for our annual picture we have moved the time to 12:45, immediately following the general business meeting! Anyone attending IML that would like to be in a photo of members of Titans of the Midwest should meet in the Florentine Room of the Congress Hotel. The group picture will be taken, and everyone will be released to participate in Kink U at IML 2017 and still make rehersal schedules.Formal Leather or Titans apparel is highly encouraged, but no dress code will be enforced.
